About me

I am a retired architect and CAD/BIM manager, and I have been working with Autodesk products since 1990. Over the years, this has led to work with visualization, documentation, teaching, CAD/BIM strategy, development of add-ons, and of course occasionally also actual building design work.
I have decided to use some of my spare time to develop free add-ons and tutorials for AutoCAD.

Here’s a short summary of my CAD/BIM experience.
Feel free to check out my LinkedIn profile as well.

  • Development and maintenance of the company’s CAD/BIM standards
  • Formulation of the company’s CAD/BIM strategy
  • Coaching in AutoCAD and Revit
  • I organized and carried out educational programs in the Nordic countries and in China.
  • Configuration of Revit for individual users or teams
  • Installation and maintenance of software
  • Customization of Revit and AutoCAD
  • Company-specific menu systems
  • Templates, dimensioning formats, plot styles, etc.
  • Development of advanced add-ons in VisualLisp, VB.NET, or C#
  • 3D visualization
  • All drafting tasks and advanced 3D modeling in:
    • Revit
    • AutoCAD Architecture
    • AutoCAD MEP
    • Pure AutoCAD – also outside the construction industry

I began working with AutoCAD version 9 in 1992 and soon discovered a strong interest in 3D modeling and AutoLISP programming.

Began working with visualizations around 1995 using AutoCAD and 3D Studio for DOS, later moving on to 3DS Max.
